In my 20-year career, I realized very early on that the power of the mind was far greater than I had ever imagined. I chose an extremely demanding and physically challenging sport, swimming, where I would swim at least 15 kilometers a day. Almost every training session was a battle with my thoughts, and my goggles would often fill with tears. That was until I learned psychological techniques that helped me push through brutal effort and stay “clear-headed” in key moments. That’s when I realized that more than anything, I wanted to bring these techniques closer to people and support them on their path to success. That’s why I dedicated my life to neuroscience and the Psychology of Peak Performance.

Understanding Mental Resilience Through Neuroscience
As part of this workshop, we will explore how our brain functions and discover how awareness training activates mental and physical stability — a key element for optimizing our daily performance and preparing for success.
You will learn:
- What it means to be mentally resilient from a neuroscience perspective.
- Why mental resilience matters and how it can support us.
- How our brain operates in moments of stress, discomfort, and unpredictability — and why the survival mechanism takes over so quickly, preventing optimal brain and body function when we need it the most.
- How awareness training activates our ability to self-regulate in stressful situations.
- Exercises and methods for training awareness.
After the theoretical part, you'll spend a full week applying the tools and practices in everyday life.
Awareness of Breath as the Foundation of Mental Resilience
We will explore how conscious breathing strengthens our mental resilience, grounds us in the present moment, supports focus and sustained attention, promotes cognitive calmness, and most importantly — regulates our nervous system to protect both mental and physical health.
You will learn:
- Why is conscious breathing the foundation of mental resilience?
- How does breathing regulate the nervous system?
- How can breathwork boost our energy and help us reset?
- Which breathing techniques enhance presence and focus?
- How can we use breathing to improve productivity and efficiency?
- How can conscious breathing help regulate emotional states?
After the theory session, you’ll have a full week to apply the tools and exercises in everyday life.
Awareness of Thoughts and Emotions
The quality of our lives is largely shaped by our emotional state — especially for performers and people who need to deliver their best when it matters most.
In the third week of our program, we’ll dive into thought patterns, negative thinking, excuses and justifications, worries and doubts, as well as the use of unproductive language and destructive interpretations — including limiting internal stories, inner dialogue, and harmful self-talk.
Special attention will be given to building emotional intelligence. We’ll explore what emotions truly are and how we can manage them effectively.
You will learn:
- What is the nature of the mind, and why is it so hard to stay positive?
- What are thoughts, and how do they influence your motivation?
- How can you develop a healthier relationship with your thoughts?
- How do we shift from excuses to solutions?
- Why should we focus our thoughts on what we want to happen?
- Why are “catastrophic words” so harmful?
- How can we build a healthier self-image and greater self-confidence?
- What are the basics of emotional intelligence? How can we use emotions (like sadness, anger, fear...) to our advantage?
- How does practicing gratitude support our mental and emotional wellbeing?
Body Awareness
In the fourth workshop, we will focus on body awareness — helping you tune in and truly listen to your body.
We’ll explore what your body needs, what it’s trying to tell you, how to recognize emotional states more quickly, how to maintain a confident posture and relaxed facial expression, and most importantly, how to develop a healthier relationship with yourself.
Athletes will gain additional insights on two key topics:
- the psychology of pain — how to manage daily “training pain”
- and the use of imagination to optimize physical performance and support recovery.
You will learn:
- How your body influences your mental and emotional state.
- What your facial expressions and body language are communicating — and what your daily posture says about you.
- How to shift your mental state by working through the body.
- How physical training strengthens psychological resilience.
- How to manage pain during training and achieve better results.
- How imagination can enhance movement efficiency and support muscle recovery.
- Why a healthy self-image is so important.
- How to care for your body on a daily basis.
Visualization
In the final workshop, we will dive deep into understanding visualization through the lens of neuroscience. You will learn how visualization impacts brain function and, as a result, enhances performance. We’ll discuss the key elements that make visualization truly effective. You’ll learn how to create mental scenarios and rehearsals in your mind — preparing yourself for future challenges and empowering you to achieve peak results.

- What is visualization training, and why is it so important?
- What happens in the brain when we visualize?
- When, how, and where should we visualize?
- How can we benefit from negative visualization?
- How do we stay committed when things feel difficult or uncertain?
Live Event
After successfully completing the 5-week program, we’ll gather for a few hours in person. We’ll celebrate the hard work we’ve done together and acknowledge the progress and positive changes each participant has made. We’ll revisit some of the most important lessons from the past five weeks and break into small groups to share insights and learn from each other.
The goal of this live session is to deepen our connection and sense of community — a support network that each member can rely on in the future.

Sara Isaković is an Olympic silver medalist, European champion, and three-time NCAA champion.
